No access to the shell and htpasswd? This utility will help!

• To generate a line suitable for use in a password file, enter a password and leave the "Salt" field blank.

  (Note: An htpasswd file has one line per user. If you are editing the file with a browser, make sure that each line ends with a "hard return" instead of simply "wrapping" because of line-length.

• To validate a password, enter the plaintext as "Password" and the encrypted form as "Salt"
